104th Fighter Wing to Conduct Morning and Night Flights Sunday

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Residents near Barnes Air National Guard Base should expect to hear some flights over the weekend that may be earlier or later than usual.

Officials of the 104th Fighter Wing say that and the 104th Fighter Wing will conduct early morning and evening flights this coming Sunday, July 7.

Wing Commander Col. Jame Keefe says, “We greatly appreciate the support of our local community. We hope that this forewarning helps local residents to prepare accordingly.

While specifics about the flights were not released, the 104th says that these flights are within the wing’s standard mission and training activities.
