Tweet Gets Seguin in Hot Water with Stars

Tyler SeguinDALLAS (WGGB) — Former-Bruin Tyler Seguin has already been scolded by his new team, after what was deemed a homophobic tweet he sent to his roughly 275,000 Twitter followers.

Seguin was part of a seven-player trade that sent him to the Dallas Stars. Now, his new team has already made a statement saying they do not condone the comments and that they have spoken with Seguin directly.

The tweet has since been deleted and the 21-year-old claimed his Twitter account was hacked. Seguin tweeted on Sunday that he will be shutting his account down for a while.

Members of the Bruins organization had cited immaturity as a problem for Seguin while in Boston.
