Blue Man Group Helps MGM’s Effort to Get Out the Vote
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Monday afternoon, MGM brought in some colorful characters to help urge Springfield residents to get out and vote for their proposed South End casino Tuesday.
The Blue Man Group, which performs at the MGM-owned Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vagas, came to Springfield as part of a “Get Out the Vote” rally on Main Street.
The trio is just one of the high-profile entertainment acts that MGM has indicated could come to Springfield, if the company is granted a casino license.
During ABC40 News at 5:00 p.m., while Chris Pisano interviewed Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno about the proposed project, the group seemed to be a bit inquisitive about such matters as the interview process, a television camera, and the Mayor’s hair.
ABC40 will have complete coverage of tomorrow’s vote, on-air and online at wggb.com
