WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WGGB) — Connecticut State Police are on their way to investigate a white powder which was discovered on a Jet Blue plane that landed at Bradley International Airport Monday.

Spokesperson for BDL, John Wallace told ABC40 it’s an ongoing situation.

“There was some type of white powder in one of the restrooms on the plane,” says Wallace.

The State Police have been called in with K-9 to investigate.  According to Wallace they will also check on the status of the crew on board to make sure they were not exposed.

He notes that the passengers are no longer on board the Jet Blue plane which arrived Monday night from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

ABC40 will continue to follow this story and will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available.
