Fireman’s Carnival Returns to Southwick

SOUTHWICK CARNIVALSOUTHWICK, Mass (WGGB) — The annual Fireman’s Carnival returned for yet another year in Southwick — as they continued their week-long festivities today.

The event provides fun rides and activities — while also raising money for the Southwick Fire Department.

All the proceeds go to the Fireman’s Association — allowing them to buy gear and equipment to help serve the community.

And the staple of the annual event is the helicopter ride.

It’s a feature they’ve had for more than ten years at the carnival and — as always — it was a big hit.

Many kids also got to participate in a parade earlier this afternoon.

If you missed out — the carnival will hold one more day tomorrow — from noon to five o’clock.
