LUDLOW (WGGB) — There was plenty to celebrate in Ludlow Saturday, as the town held its annual festival.
“Celebrate Ludlow” included music, food, games and fireworks, along with Forest Park’s “Zoo on the Go.” It featured pony rides and bounce houses, but also took steps for a good cause.
Organizers collected non-perishable food items for the Community Survival center. They offered a free raffle ticket for every three items donated.
“It’s Ludlow’s biggest fundraiser for all non-profit groups in town,” chairwoman Denise Zrakas said, “We have churches, civic groups, youth groups, Lion’s Clubs. Anything like that, as long as it’s non-profit.”
The event went until midnight Saturday night. You can contact any participating group to donate directly.
