Wet Start on Day Two of PGA Championship

Farmers Insurance Open - Final Round

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — Morning rains have greeted the golfers teeing it up for the second round of the PGA Championship. The showers are expected to extend through the morning with a slight chance of a thundershower. That could set the stage for more soft conditions and low scores.

Co-leader Adam Scott has a morning tee time in his marquee group with U.S. Open champ Justin Rose and British Open champ Phil Mickelson. Rose starts the day three shots off the lead shared by Scott and Jim Furyk (FYOOR’-ihk). Mickelson starts play six shots back, tied with Tiger Woods.

Furyk is scheduled to start his second round this afternoon.
