Two Pittsfield Families Displaced After Fire

House Fire

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Two Pittsfield families were displaced after an early morning fire Saturday, according to firefighters.

They say they got the call for the fire in the two-and-a-half story duplex at 269 Francis Avenue at 1:16AM.

Six engines responded.

The majority of the damage was to the second floor, attic, and rear porch, but the rest of the house suffered heat and smoke damage.

No one living in the home was hurt, but one firefighter is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
