That’s according to Spokesperson, John Wallace who sent us a release Thursday afternoon about the new option.
Governor Dannel Malloy, American Airlines Regional Vice President, Dale Morris and the Connecticut Airport Authority are expected to attend the event on the morning of August 27 to talk more about the newly available non-stop flights.
Bradley International Airport already offers a number of non-stop flights nationwide so this will be one more addition to their list.
Wallace told ABC40, “We’re excited about this. It’s the first non-stop West Coast service since 9/11.”
He also says that Jet Blue will be adding daily non-stop flights starting the end of October to Fort Myers and Tampa. And in November, daily round-trip services to Atlanta will be offered by Southwest Airlines.
The event next Tuesday is scheduled to take place at 7:30 in the morning at Terminal A at the American Airlines’ Gate.
