Answers Still Sought in the Murder of Amanda Plasse 2 Years Later
A $10,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest. Amanda’s mother, Michelle Mathieson, says that while two years have passed, the pain remains the same.
“To walk down this path and not have the answers as to who did this to her or why somebody would even do this, is just beyond imagination. You live it day in and day out. Like I said, somebody is holding that one missing piece. Somebody out there knows something. Somebody saw something. Somebody heard something. People talk,” explains Michelle.
Plasse was inside her School Street Apartment when she was stabbed around 4:30 p.m. on August 26, 2011.
Her family is holding the Second Annual “Justice For Amanda” benefit barbecue and concert on September 7th at Maximum Capacity in Chicopee. Proceeds will go to the Wisniowski Park, Chicopee Schools, and the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee.
Anyone with information about Amanda’s death is asked to call police at (413)-594-1730 or you can also send an anonymous text to 274637.
