Holyoke Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — Holyoke Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.

Holyoke Police Lt. James Albert says that around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, a man walked into a Lyman Street convenience store, armed with a sawed-off shotgun.

After stealing an amount of cash from the store, the suspect then reportedly took off towards Maple Street.

No injuries were reported.

Albert adds that the suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 6 feet tall, with a thin build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt or sweater.
