Report: Fifty Shades of Grey Film Casts Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam as Leads

After months of speculation, the 50 Shades of Grey movie has found its leading lady and leading man.

Dakota Johnson (Ben and Kate) and Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) will play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the upcoming film based on E.L. James’ steamy bestseller, Deadline reports.

Johnson’s character is a sheltered college graduate who undergoes a sexual awakening after meeting Christian Grey, who introduces her to relationships based on submission and dominance.

Fifty Shades of Grey is set to be released in theaters on Aug. 1, 2014. What do you think of the casting news?
