Dancing with the Stars Season 17 Cast Revealed

Dancing with the Stars unveiled its Season 17 cast on Wednesday’s Good Morning America — and it includes an ex-Scientologist, a Showgirl, the Science Guy and a comedy legend.

Valerie Harper, who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year, will hit the parquet with pro partner Tristan MacManus. The Emmy-winning Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda star announced last week that her cancer is close to remission.

Harper was among the rumored names leaked last week. The other leaked names — Saved by the Bell and Showgirls star Elizabeth BerkleyGlee star Amber Rileyformer Scientologist Leah ReminiJersey Shore‘s Snooki and The Voice‘s Christina Milian — are all confirmed to be in the cast. Riley is partnered with four-time and defending champ Derek Hough.

The other stars include Jack Osbourne, whose sister Kelly finished in third place in Season 9, Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Bill Nye (Bill Nye the Science Guy), actor Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little LiarsDays of Our Lives), comedian Bill Engvall and Super Bowl champ and ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson, who will fill the show’s requisite football player slot.

Dancing, which has been downsized to one night a week next season, has also added three new pros: Burlesque star Tyne Stecklein and troupe members Sasha Farber and Emma Slater.
