A convocation ceremony was held on the school’s campus.
Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan is a parent of two Williston graduates and was asked to give a speech to students tonight.
Headmaster Robert Hill says he hopes the ceremony and speech will inspire students.
“We’re looking for big themes to set a tone for the whole year. This is our 173 year, so we’ve been at it for a long time. What we hope is that they take some of the words they are hearing and let them carry through for the entire year to come,” explains Hill.
Williston is a boarding and day school for students in seventh grade through high school.
