Talking Cars Episode 13: Chevrolet Silverado vs. Ram 1500

Director of Auto Testing Jake Fisher and Senior Engineers Gabe Shenhar and Tom Mutchler kick off the latest podcast by discussing the Chevrolet Silverado vs. Ram 1500 pickup truck face-off. The test scores are close, but the personalities, and staff preferences, show a wider spread. The engineers explain the differences between the models, discuss how we test trucks, and divulge which truck they would buy.

While we had trucks at the track, we explored the aged old question: Does a truck get better fuel economy with the tailgate up or down?

Later, the guys address reader questions, including the best choice for a heavy-duty truck and whether the Chevrolet Impala is a better buy than an Audi A6.
