LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB) -Students from The L.Y. A Middle School in Longmeadow took time last week to remember those that lost their lifes on 9-11. Students wore red, white and blue, sang songs and wrote poems.
It’s the goal of the school to make sure that September 11th inspires students to make their world a better place and never forget that even one small good act can change the world.
The school also honored Robert Zussman, A Jewish War Veteran, as well as a graduate of LYA’s First Graduating class with raising the American flag that was donated to The School.
