Two People Homeless after House Fire in Orange

House FireORANGE, Mass. (WGGB) — Two people are homeless after their house caught fire early Friday morning.

Just after midnight crews from multiple surrounding towns were called to the house at 103 Eagleville Road in Orange.

The one-story house was heavily damaged by smoke and water, luckily no one was hurt. Firefighters from Athol, New Salem, Warwick and Royalston helped fight the fire as well.

The Massachusetts Fire Marshall is currently investigating the cause of the fire, but according to Captain Young from the Orange Fire Department says the cause is believed to be electrical.
