SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB)–This morning runners and walkers participated in the Annual Carl Joesph Walker-Hoover Foundation 5K Run/2K Walk at Forest Park in Springfield. The Anti-Bullying foundation was founded in memory of Carl Joesph Walker-Hoover, a sixth grader who committed suicide after being bullied in school in 2009. ABC40′s Dave Madsen hosted the event which included an Anti-Bullying Pledge and award presentation. Participants warmed up to a Zumba dance workout from Lisa Bonaker’s School of Dance and inspirational songs by Andrew Cade.
