Police Searching for Suspects after Armed Robbery

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Police in several Western Massachusetts communities are on the lookout for a group of criminals who allegedly stole thousands of dollars early Tuesday morning.

Police say that three men armed with a pipe stole $5,000 at the BP gas station on Page Boulevard in Springfield just before 2:30 a.m.

Three men were last seen driving away in a Black 2006 Hummer SUV with Connecticut license plates 2ABC-KUZ.

If you see the vehicle or have any information on the armed robbery you’re asked to call police.

Never ceases to amaze me how many CT plates are involved in crimes in Springfield, MA. Are these really people from CT committing these crimes or are they just Springfield people who have rented a car from a local rental agency.
