Agawam Lions Club Serves Up a Great Meal for a Great Cause

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — There are so many food options at the fair. However, one in particular helps gives back to the community.

Since 1985, the Lions Club of Agawam has been a food stop at The Big E.

Located near the end of the Avenue of the States, not far from the Midway, the club serves up grilled half-chicken pieces, all-white meat chicken tenders, fries, and salads.

The fair is the group’s largest fundraiser of the year. With fund raised throughout the year, the club helps support local groups in Agawam, as well as programs that help those with sight problems, including seeing-eye dogs and free eyeglasses.
