ABC40 Honor Roll – Football Team Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WGGB) – The Frontier Middle School football team is raising awareness in the fight against Breast Cancer.

As we know October is Breast Cancer awareness month. To bring recognition to the fight against breast cancer, just like the NFL players, the kids on the football team are wearing pink. The team will be wearing pink socks for the rest of the season, which goes to the end of the month.

The teams coach, Dan Cleary, says they are a hard-working bunch that supports each other so they wanted to give back and show their support for those suffering from breast cancer.

The socks were donated by The High School and The Polish Club.
