All Lanes Reopened Following Tractor Trailer Crash on Pike

Traffic AlertBRIMFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — All eastbound travel lanes on the Mass Pike in Brimfield have reopened following a tractor trailer crash this morning.

The State Police barracks out of Charlton reports that at about 10:50 this morning a tractor trailer went off the road into the guardrails at the 72.5 mile marker.

According to MassDOT’s Twitter account, the right travel lane and breakdown lane were reopened around 2:45.

No one was injured in this incident.

The accident remains under investigation.

If you are traveling you will likely still see delays.

MassDOT says the Friday before Columbus Day is the first or second busiest day of the year for travel on the Pike.
