DETROIT, Mich. (WGGB) — Play has resumed at Game 3 of the American League Championship Series after the power goes out at the ballpark.

The outage at Comerica Park forced Major League Baseball to put the game in 17 minute delay, until the lights and electricity could be restored.

Game play resumed just before 5:00 p.m. where it left off before the outage – in the bottom of the second, with the Tigers at bat.

You can catch all the action of Game 3 and the entire ALCS on FOX 6.

It’s the afternoon. Why do you need power to play when you don’t need lights yet?
