Two Hospitalized After Overnight Stabbing, One Suspect Sought

Police-stabbing2SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Two people have been hospitalized after an overnight stabbing in Springfield.

The incident occurred just after 2:30 Saturday morning on Dorset Street, where Springfield Police responded to a domestic disturbance. There they found the two victims, one male and one female, both 19-years-old, and both having suffered stab wounds. They were transported to the hospital and are expected to be okay.

Police are now searching for 20-year-old Michael Martinez. He is wanted in connection to the incident. He is described as a 20-year-old hispanic man, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with any information are asked to call police.
