HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — The City of Holyoke launches a new program, aimed at improving quality of life issue.
Residents can now report issues they see, such as potholes and sidewalk issues, in real-time with the new mobile app “See, Click, Fix”.
The app allows for descriptions, location, and even photos.
Once the information is received, it’s then routed to the appropriate department.
“We’ll be able to track the work, prioritize the work, and then what’s most important about this is something that we lack now – is that we’re able to get a result back to the resident quickly without a lot of paperwork or administrative work,” says William Fuqua, Holyoke DPW Superintendent.
This streamlined process allows departments to focus more resources in need areas and improve efficiency.
Holyoke joins Chicopee and Northampton as local communities using similar apps to report quality of life issues.
