Let’s hope no wrecking balls are required.

Castle has cast former Lying Game star Alexandra Chando to play a “Lindsay Lohan/Miley Cyrus type who has had a big public meltdown,” series creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells TVLine.

“She’s somebody who has turned from America’s sweetheart into the kind of person who might twerk on MTV,” said Marlowe, who added that the character will trigger some sort of realization for one of the show’s main characters.

9 shows on the bubble: Which will survive?

Chando will appear in the 11th episode of the season, tentatively set to air in early 2014.

The Lying Game, based on the book series of the same name, was axed in June after two seasons. Chando is also known for her role on As the World Turns.

Castle airs Mondays at 10/9c on ABC. Are you excited to see the series take on Cyrus?
