Halloween scared away most viewers Thursday.

Scandal topped a down night overall with 9.2 million viewers and a 2.9 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, on par with last week. ABC’s annual broadcast of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (7 million, 2.2) improved more than a point on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland‘s rating in the timeslot and Grey’s Anatomy (8.9 million, 2.6) fell two tenths.

Bookended by Big Bang Theory repeats, CBS’ new comedies The Millers (9.6 million, 2.0) and The Crazy Ones (8.1 million, 1.9) both hit series lows. Elementary (9.3 million, 1.7) dipped a tenth.

On NBC, Saturday Night Live Halloween earned 5.5 million and a 1.7, boosting Sean Saves the World (4.1 million, 1.2) one tenth. However, The Michael J. Fox Show (3.6 million, 1.1) hit a series low, while Parenthood (4 million, 1.3) was flat.

Fox’s The X Factor recap show also hit an all-time low with 3.2 million and a 0.8, which tied The CW’s The Vampire Diaries (2.1 million, 0.8). Reign (1.6 million, 0.6) was steady.
