Agawam Police Searching for Shoplifting Suspect

AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB) — Agawam Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a shoplifting suspect.

Agawam Police Det. Lt. Richard Light says that around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, police were called after a man left the CVS on Silver Street after shoplifting some merchandise.

Light adds that the suspect got into a brief struggle with a female customer, who was trying to “foil his escape.” The man then fled the area in a small, white vehicle.
