Plum Organics Voluntarily Recalls Food Pouches

EMERYVILLE, Calif. (WGGB) — Parents may want to check their cupboards and diaper bags after Plum Organics has issued a voluntary recall for some pouch products over concerns of spoilage.

They are products within the Baby Stage 2, Tots Mish Mash and Kids lines. The recalled products have “Best by” dates ranging from August 5, 2014 (8/5/14) to December 8, 2014 (12/8/14), along with the letters “AT” in the product label.

Plum Organics says the recall comes “in an abundance of caution.” The potential spoilage may cause some of the affected pouches to swell.

None of the listed products should be fed to children and consumers should contact Plum Organics for a replacement voucher.

The products by those brands include 3.5 to 4 oz. pouches, and boxes of yogurt “Mash Ups.”

Consumers that have affected products can obtain a replacement voucher by:
Phone: (866) 495-3774
Email: info@plumorganics.com with the subject line “Replacement Voucher” and include your first and last name, full mailing address, phone number, “Best by” date and the number of affected pouches.
