Clearing Skies and Windy Overnight

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The clouds hung tough through early this afternoon but we were able to see some sunshine. Expect partly cloudy skies tonight and there is the chance of a few light showers this evening before skies clear out late tonight. It will be a breezy night with winds out of the northwest between 10-15 mph and gusts over 20 mph. It will be a chilly night with lows in the mid 20s to around 30.

Veteran’s Day is looking dry with cool and breezy conditions. It will be a sunny start to the day but clouds will increase in the afternoon in advance of a approaching cold front. Highs on Monday will run in the mid 40s to around 50. If you are heading to a parade be sure to dress warm but overall things will be fine. The strong cold front crosses late Monday and could bring some snow showers or even a snow squall by early Tuesday as well as some of the coldest air we have seen so far this season. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will only make it into the upper 30s to around 40. The good news is the cold air does not stick around all that long and by the end of the week we could see temperatures approaching 50 degrees once again.

Have a great night!!
