Partly Sunny & Windy for your Sunday

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — We are waking up to cloudy skies and a few showers out there this morning. The threat for a few showers are possible through mid-day today with a weak storm passing to our north. Temperatures will end up a few degrees warmer today than yesterday but the gusty breeze won’t make it feel that way! Highs today will reach into the lower 50s. Winds out of the south/southwest will average between 10 and 15 mph with gusts over 25 mph this afternoon. Tonight we can expect partly cloudy skies but the breeze will stick around and it will be chilly with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Veteran’s Day is looking dry with cool and breezy conditions. Temperatures will top off in the upper 40s to around 50 with a mix of sun and clouds as another front approaches. If you are heading to a parade be sure to dress warm but overall things will be fine. The front crosses late Monday night as a strong cold front and could bring some snow showers or even a snow squall by early Tuesday as well as some of the coldest air we have seen so far this season.

Have a great day!!
