ABC40 Honor Roll – Ware Students Raking in the Food

WARE, Mass. (WGGB) – Students at Ware Middle School are holding their annual non-perishable food drive. The food drive began in early October and runs through November 18th. The students have already collected over three thousand food items. Each day the kids collect items, keep inventory and box up the food.

The food will be donated to the local food pantry, The Jubilee Cupboard. The schools leadership council also contacted a local appliance store. The appliance will be donating a box truck so that the items can be delivered to the food pantry on Thursday, November 21st at 9:00 am.
