Mosaic Unveiled at Commerce High School in Springfield

MosaicSPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — There was a formal unveiling of a photo mosaic at Springfield’s Commerce High School tonight.

It was created by Camera Club volunteers and students along with White House photographer, Anne Savage.

The photo mosaic illustrates an image of Commerce High School… but taking a closer look it shows smaller photos of students, faculty and staff which helped create the image.

“They went and captured what the school meant to them. I think they did a really great job. The mosaic just shows the variety at this school,” says Anne.
Ashley Cabrera, a junior at the school told us, “We have a lot of diversity at this school, and it just represents bringing everyone together.”

The mosaic will be serving as a message of unity and strength for Commerce and the Springfield community as a whole.
