CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB) — People around Westover Air Reserve Base should expect some increased noise during the early evening hours for a few days next week.

Senior Master Sgt. Robert J. Sabonis of the 104th says that F-15′s assigned to the 104th Fighter Wing will conduct nighttime training flights on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The planes will depart Westover around 5:00 p.m. each night.

“The evening missions are a critical part of our required reoccurring training. The night-training is required to ensure our pilots are ready to respond to any airborne threat in the Northeastern United States, at any time, in any condition,” Sabonis adds.

The flights are slated to land around 6:30 p.m. each night.
