One Person Hurt in Crash of Small Plane in Mass.
MARSHFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A small plane has crashed into woods near the Marshfield municipal airport, injuring the pilot and causing a small fire.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the Maule M-5 plane crashed into a tree near the George Hollowfield Airport at about 3:45 p.m. Friday. The FAA said the plane had just left the airport and was returning to land.
An airport representative says the pilot was the only person aboard and had non-life-threatening injuries.
