Police Find Body and “Multitude” of Weapons at a East Windsor Home

East Windsor Home BEAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WGGB) — Police in East Windsor, Connecticut say they discovered a body and a “multitude” of weapons at a home on Stoughton Road this morning after a neighbor called to report they hadn’t seen the homeowner in almost a month.

Emergency personnel responded to the house shortly after 9:30 a.m. today.  In a release sent to ABC40 this evening, Lt. Michael Poliquin says,”East Windsor Officers went to the scene and discovered a body on the first floor of the home in a state of decomposition.  Also discovered were a multitude of firearms, ammunition, black powder, and some other military devices.”

Police say they believe this was an isolated event and that there is no danger to the community.

Our crew who went to the scene tonight reports that several officers were still at the home as of about 8:00 p.m.

The Connecticut State Police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiners is assisting in this investigation.  No word on the identity of the individual found or the cause of death.

  • Mr Creepy

Another sad little man and his only friends, his guns. Ready for armageddon, but instead he probably choked to death on a Frito.

Mr Creepy, you should realize that some “normal” people actually collect guns as a hobby, NOT for Armageddon…people like you are creating a stereotype that is simply false! I enjoy collecting firearms, everything from 90+ year old shotguns, to the big bad super scary AR-15′s, and I can assure you, I am NOT concerned about any zombie attacks, Armageddon, government takeover, or anything else for they matter!
