SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Three people are facing drug-related and weapons charges following a raid Wednesday.

Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney says that just before 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, detectives executed a search warrant on a home on Armory Street.

The district court warrant, Delaney adds, came after a five week investigation by the department’s Narcotics division.

During the raid, investigators reportedly found drugs, weapons, and money all over the apartment. They also confiscated .22 caliber handguns, shotgun shells, along with crack cocaine, 33 bags of heroin, and marijuana all packaged for sale.

Officers arrested 22-year-old Joevany Santiago, 19-year-old Devin Martinez, and 23-year-old Abigail Latorre, all from Springfield. All three are facing several drug-related and weapons charges.

Arraignment is scheduled for Thursday in Springfield District Court.
