Falcons Help Toys for Tots Collect Gifts

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – Christmas time is here and Toys for Tots has begun its annual toy drive, with one local team partnering up with them to give back to Western Mass.

The Springfield Falcons gave every fan who donated an unopened toy a free ticket voucher to a home game.

Toys for Tots goal is to collect more than 111,000 toys to deliver to over 50,000 Western Mass families. ” People of western mass have been very supportive, all the businesses, I’m just overwhelmed by all the businesses that helped us support our campaign and reach our goal which is serve every family and children in need in Western Mass,” said Corp. The toy drive was held at the Mass Mutual Center tonight during the Falcons game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
