ABC40 Honor Roll – Students Get Unique History Lesson

Granby, Mass. (WGGB)  On Monday seventh graders at The Granby Jr/Sr. High School got an important history lesson. The Springfield “Museums on the Go” program paid them a visit.

The program is entitled - “Us and Them: Discrimination during the Holocaust and Today.” The kids took part in a discussion about discrimination in a historical context as well as identifying behaviors that lead to bullying, hate crimes, and Genocide. S

tudents were immersed in the stories of local Holocaust survivors who settled in the Springfield area, after World War II.
