ABC40 Honor Roll – Students Take Life Saving Driving Test

WEST SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) –  On Tuesday students at West Springfield High School where treated to a unique driving experience. A distracted driving simulator was made available so students so that they could see the dangers of distracted driving.

“Distractology 101″ forces students to deal with all forms of situations on the road.

Students that used the simulator say it opened their eyes to possible dangers on the road and it gave them a new perspective on how important it is to stay focused on the road while behind the wheel.

Each student that completes the simulator could receive a discount on their car insurance. The kids also get a 15 dollar gas card. The simulator will be available to students through Saturday.
