Last Opportunity for Last Minute Christmas Shoppers
Ready or not, Christmas is tomorrow and of course, some are more prepared than others.
“I’m all done, everything is wrapped ready to go,” said Loree Phillips,
“I’m getting stocking stuffers and a couple things. I always wait until the 24th,” said Roger Jones, Agawam.
He admits it might be ‘a guy thing. “It must be, I see a lot of people I know out here today.”
But not so fast – women are just as guilty.
“The spirit is there and we’re so ready. We just did our shopping today we waited until today,” admitted Stephanie Santos of Holyoke.
Even Santa is feeling the last-minute pinch. He was at the Holyoke Mall all day meeting children but had to leave early for obvious reasons.
“I am just awesomely ready! The reindeer are at the North Pole all in shape and ready to go and the sleigh is just filled to the top,” he said.
Hopefully Santa has time for a quick nap before heading back on his way and he wasn’t the only one that had to recharge. Dozens stood in line at Starbucks for coffee and espresso.
One shopper even brought his own bottle of water.
“Yes, I have to stay hydrated during the holidays. You know how it is, lots of people, Lots of shopping,” said Mark Adamaski.
