(WGGB) – NSA leaker Edward Snowden delivered a very unique message on Christmas through a London-based t-v network. He warned people everywhere… your government may be watching.

Snowden said in part “The conversation occurring today will determine the amount of trust we can place both in the technology that surrounds us and the government that regulates it. Together we can find a better balance, end mass surveillance and remind the government that if it really wants to know how we feel asking is always cheaper than spying. For everyone out there listening. Thank you and Merry Christmas.”

Snowden spent the holiday in Russia where he’s been granted temporary asylum. He went there after releasing thousands of classified documents detailing the U.S. government’s extensive spying network that monitors its own people and foreign leaders.
