Jeffrey Pollack, who directed Booty Call and was a producer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died on Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 54, and police believe he died of natural causes while exercising in Hermosa Beach, Calif.

A woman who was out jogging found Pollack’s body on Monday morning. He was dressed in running gear and carrying an iPod, according to the Manhattan Beach Patch.com

Born in Los Angeles, Pollack graduated from the film school at the University of Southern California in the early 1980s and spent three years in Asia as a tourist and documentarian. Upon returning to the United States, he embarked upon a film career and founded a production company with Benny Medina. The two helped create Fresh Prince in 1990.

He also served as an executive consultant on The Tyra Banks Show.

Pollack is survived by a son and a daughter.
