SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) — A night of music and fun helped raise money for people suffering with and recovering from cancer Saturday night in Springfield.
NAI Plotkin hosted the “Home is Where the Heart Is” performance, featuring several well-known musicians.
The proceeds and suggested $15 dollar donations went to benefit the CHD Cancer House of Hope. They provide free cancer support services for those suffering from the disease.
“We wanted to have people get together and recognize the good work that they do,” said Evan Plotkin, president of NAI Plotkin. “And be part of a fun musical experience with the great art work that’s around.”
The artists included Marysa Smith, Sam Plotkin, and Peter Newland.
