Two Falcons Named to AHL All-Star Classic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Two Springfield Falcons have been named to the roster of the 2014 AHL All-Star Classic.

Defensement Frederic St. Denis and Cody Goloubef were both chosen to take part in the game, which will be February 12 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Goloubef has four goals and 11 assists so far this season. He is tied for the top spot among all AHL defensemen with two shootout goals and one shootout game-winning goal this season.

St. Denis has 21 points through 34 games this season and currently ranks seventh among all AHL defensemen.

The next home game for the Falcons is this Friday at 7:00 p.m. against the Albany Devils at the MassMutual Center.
