Abducted Fitchburg Girl Found, Mother Arrested in North Carolina

Alize Whipple(WGGB) — Massachusetts State Police say they have located the missing girl, whose abduction triggered an Amber Alert on Friday.

Alize Whipple, 6, of Fitchburg has been found safe in Shelby, North Carolina, according to Massachusetts State Police. Her mother, Leenna Wilson, 50, has been taken into custody.

State Police located the 1996 Buick Century, believed be the one Wilson was driving, overnight in Leominster. The Whipple and Wilson were not found.

State Police thanked the Fitchburg Police for their assistance in the search for Alize.
