State Police Find Car in Amber Alert, Girl and Mother Still Missing

Alize WhippleFITCHBURG, Mass. (WGGB) – Massachusetts State Police say they have found the car involved in the abduction of a 6-year-old girl from Fitchburg. The girl and her mother, who is believed to have abducted her, remain missing.

MSPD along with the Fitchburg Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 6-year-old Alize Whipple. She is described as a black female approximately 3’9 tall, weighing 45 pounds with dark hair. She was last seen wearing a pink top, pink petite pants and pink sparkly shoes on Wednesday January 8 at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Normandy Street in Fitchburg.

Whipple is believed to have been abducted by her non-custodial mother, 50-year-old Leanna Wilson from Normandy Street in Fitchburg. She is described  as a white female approximately 5’5 tall, weighing 135 pounds with strawberry blonde hair. There is reason to believe Wilson will cause harm to the child.

State Police located the 1996 Buick Century, believed be the one Wilson was driving, overnight in Leominster. The Whipple and Wilson were not found.
