Facing a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Armor battled back to pull off a 113-105 victory.
Darius Johnson-Odom scored 27 points, including 14 in the final quarter to lead the comeback.
Adonis Thomas added 25 points of his own, and helped the Armor to an impressive 60% shooting performance from the field.
Springfield dominated in the paint, out-scoring Delaware 32-24 down low. They also kept pace with the 87ers by forcing 11 turnovers in the game.
It didn’t look promising for Armor fans at the MassMutual Center three minutes into the final quarter, when Delaware went on a 14-3 run. Six of Delaware’s players finished with double digits, including 18 off the bench from Bouldin.
But, Springfield managed a 35-25 edge over the final 12 minutes of the game to secure the victory.
The Armor will be in action again Wednesday, when they take on the Bayhawks in Erie, Pennsylvania.
