Man Hospitalized After Single Car Accident in Great Barrington

Car-Accident3GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (WGGB) – Police in Great Barrington say that one man was rushed to the hospital when his car hit a bridge.

The accident occurred on Route 141 near the intersection with Division Street at about 9 o’clock Saturday night. Great Barrington Police say the man was injured when his sedan crashed head on into the bridge’s concrete railing.

The man was taken to Berkshire Medical Center with what were described as serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not yet know what caused that accident.
