Bridge Street in Springfield Reopens Following Water Main Break

bridgestreet

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Bridge Street in Springfield is back open Friday after a water main break shut it down for nearly two weeks.

On January 4, a main leaked several thousand gallons of water into the intersection near Main street.

The break also caused a large sinkhole to form in the street.

There is still some work being done on the sidewalks, but the road itself is now usable.
